The following was sent to me by my buddy Phil Paskvan of Toledo, Ohio.  Phil writes "I wanted to send some pix of my buddy Tom McGowen's super tough 429 '70 fairlane 500 for the projects section. It was a no-optioned 302 car. He's restomodding it with a GT hood, tail lamps , interior, chrome reverse wheels, 429, C-6, Posi 4/11gear 9" and grabber blue paint. He's had the car for about 14 years and has redone it a couple times. This time he's doing it "ground up". (try to ignore the spatter paint engine compartment, it'll go soon.) FYI -beer and spatter paint don't mix. He's aiming for a mid-september completion. Unfortunatly a 71 GT had to die as a parts car but it was severely smashed and was roller-painted red over yellow."

Thanks Phil, tell you buddy Tom he has a great car going!  Thanks....
