The following comes from James Brighum of Appleton, Wisconsin.  James writes "Hi Mike, Just thought I'd send a couple pic. of a 71 conv. I picked up in Chicago in early Sept. It was origially a 302 3-speed on the tree, ( which was put on the floor), with a very nice sounding flowmaster exhaust. No power steering or brakes. It does have a factory tach and wood grain dash, which is something I've never seen on a GT. It has 66,000 miles and is an absolutly rock solid car. It has been repainted and someone put on a 70 laser stripe instead of the correct 71 stripe. Its a very clean fun car. James Brighum, Appleton Wi."
