"I got this car when I was 16, I’ll be 43 this year! I drove it up until I finished college and went into the Army in ’86. When my father retired from his job in ’88 he decided he needed a project and started on my old car. He has always been a pretty good “shade tree mechanic” and enjoyed staying busy. When he finished it had been fully restored from front to back. The factory 351C had about 130,000 before we had it completely rebuilt. It runs stronger than ever now. There probably aren’t a lot of guys in their mid-40’s that are still driving the muscle car they had when they were a teenager. I consider myself very fortunate to still have this sweet old car and such fantastic father as well.
