The following comes from Ray Murray and Heather Kelly of Syracuse, New York.  Ray and Kelly write "Well it took me long enuff ehh? But here they are finally. this my 70 GT with a 71 Torino 500 (cobra nose) I did the work myself the car was ratty and rotten blue on blue when I found it and the parts donated by my previous torino 500 finished her up nicely, I know its not original and I butchered a good car or some stuff but its the way i wanted it to be and since theyll mix our ashes when were dead I'm not to worried about the decreased value based on my modifications. Its early 70 351 4v car that was equipped with the lethargic fmx trans ... that had to go. Now its motivated through a hurst shifted c-6 . i installed the edelbrock carb after the motorcraft unit gave up the ghost.and at 200000 mi we replaced the worn out stock timing set with a roller set up added a mallory breakerless distributer again to relace the worn out ford unit that needed reset evey few days towards the end there.the lakewood traction bars are just there for looks i actually break them if i give it the goose to hard! lthe wheels were a 70 $ swap meet find that look soo much better than the factory gt hub caps eewww. i liked the plain look of the cobra over the gt s gaudy decorations all the original gt parts are sitting in the garage collecting dust, the bumpers were pretty bad but i thaught theyd look hot painted so i didnt bother with new chrome,(cheapskate) haha. airshocks were a must to stiffen the ride . we rebuilt the front end last winter along with a mostly new interior. hope it sparks someones interest to build them i get a few looks rollin around town.   owners: ray murray/heather kelly syracuse ny"

Thanks Ray and Kelly, you know what they say, good things are worth waiting for, and it was worth waiting for!  Thanks....
