The following email came from T.J. Langguth of Cedar Rapids, IA. He writes "VERY COOL SITE. I HAVE ATTACHED 3 PICS OF MY 70 TORINO COBRA TO PUT ON YOUR SITE IF YOU WANT. I WISH I HAD BEFORE PICS, BUT I DONT HAVE A SCANNER. IT WAS A PARTS CAR WITH NOT TO MANY PARTS LEFT,AND WAS HEADED FOR THE CRUSHER WHEN I FOUND IT. IT HAD NO MOTOR OR TRANNY AND HAD AN OPEN REAR END. THE FLOOR WAS RUSTED OUT,FRONT FENDERS WERE ROTTED, AND THE QUARTERS WERE IN REAL BAD SHAPE. I PUT A MILD 460 AND AUTO. WITH A 2500 STALL. I PUT IN A 3.50 TRACTION LOK REAR GEAR. ALL THE SHEET METAL WAS REPAIR WITH NEW HAND FORMED METAL AND PAINTED BLACK. I TALKED TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HE SAID IT WAS A SCJ DRAG PAK AUTO. WITH 4.30 GEARS. AS YOU KNOW PARTS ARE HARD TO COME BY, SO IT HAS A 71 500 GRILL IN IT FOR NOW. IT HAS A GT HOOD FOR EXTRA AIR CLEANER CLEARANCE. ITS STILL NEEDS ALOT OF WORK, BUT ITS ALOT OF FUN TO DRIVE ".
Thanks for the cool pictures T.J.! I love a Torino with attitute and your's looks very cool! Great photos....
