| "The
California Chapter of the Fairlane Club of America held their annual
MiniMeet today in Lodi, CA (about 45 minutes south of Sacramento, and
the birthplace of A&W Root Beer). I borrowed a digital camera, so I
could send you pictures of some of the cars at the meet. I don't want to
snub any Fairlane fans out there, but I focused (pun intended) on just
the Torinos and a couple of rare Cyclones. There was a little of
everything there; project cars, daily drivers, stock originals, quality
restorations, and even a few race-ready examples. There were about 60
cars on display, of which about a third were Torinos. Enjoy!
