model code 34 for 1970 was a mid-year addition plain Torino SportsRoof.

front fenders, Torino script lettering on the hood and 250 6 cyl.

available. Ford built 12,490 of this model in 1970. For 1971, model 34
became a Torino 500 SportsRoof and some of the standard equipment
changed slightly.

1969 COBRA TORINO - THERE WERE ONLY 1387 BUILT WITH 428 SCJ ENGINES AND DRAG PACK REAR AXLE RATIOS. OF THESE, 667 HAD THE 4.30 REAR AXLE RATIO (W ON THE DOOR TAG). THE REST WOULD HAVE HAD THE 3.91 RATIO. - MIKE BRUNEY
